This weekend (2-3 Feb) marked the 3rd UK Hypnosis Convention (UKHC) at the Rennaissance Hotel at Heathrow Airport and what an event it was!
The UKHC was created by Nick Ebdon with assistance of friends and family, I attended the 2nd convention which was amazing. But this year’s atmosphere was unreal! The content from the presenters was really educational, embracing and friendly.
For me, the evenings anchor why this event is so good, being able to ask questions to the presenters who are the best in the world. Friday night was taken up with a panel for Hypnosis-Weekly by Adam Eason. This year his 5 panelists were Freddy Jacquin, Joergen Ramussen, Alberto Dell’isola, Fredrick Meu and Kate Beaven-Marks. Answering questions that all experienced and beginner therapists could take information away from.
Saturday evening as always was the Gala Dinner. This year’s Keynote speaker was the wonderful Melissa Tiers, her funny, direct and entertaining persona absorbing the rooms attention was phenomenal. Nick gave a very personal speech to how he will be stepping back as the sole organiser for future events. Following the talks the band stated and all therapists were on the dance floor. With Nick taking to the microphone to sing Mustang Sally (and what a surprising voice he had!).
So there we go… fun filled, friendship making and educational throughout. The UKHC did not fail….
Biggest highlights to my weekend… Adam Eason, Daniel Ryan, Hazel Gale, Janet Thompson, Kaz Riley and many more.
So 2019 you need to be there!
